What should be paid attention to in stamping parts processing?

Stamping parts are formed by applying external force to plates, strips, pipes and profiles by means of presses and molds to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain workpieces (stamping parts) of the required shape and size. Stamping and forging are both plastic processing (or pressure processing), collectively referred to as forging. The blanks to be stamped are mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates and strips. Compared with castings and forgings, stamping parts are thin, uniform, light and strong. Stamping can produce stiffeners, stiffeners, corrugated or flanged workpieces that are difficult to process by other methods to improve their rigidity. Due to the use of precision molds, the accuracy of the workpiece can reach the micron level, the repeat accuracy is high, and the specifications are consistent. It can punch out holes, bumps, etc.

We should know that many things need to be paid attention to when processing stamping parts. If you are not prepared, there will be many problems during processing, which may also affect the effect of processing, and more seriously may affect the service life of stamping parts.

The surface of stamping parts will generally be treated as follows

(1) Surface polishing: Surface polishing has a long history of application in daily necessities. For example, the combs we produce are stamped from metal parts. The corners of the comb are very sharp. We must polish the sharp part of the corner to a smooth surface.

(2) Spray paint processing: The hardware factory uses spray paint processing when producing large-scale hardware products, and avoids rusting of the hardware through paint processing, such as daily necessities, electrical appliances shells, handicrafts, etc.

(3) Electroplating: Electroplating is also one of the most widely used processes in hardware processing. Using modern technology, the surface of the hardware is electroplated to ensure that the product will not be moldy or embroidered after long-term use. Common electroplating processes are: screws, stamping parts, batteries, auto parts, accessories, etc.
